Almost a year ago today, I had a very difficult
situation with my work... It was when we had a major
accident in our project. Two T-beams of a bridge that we
are constructing fell down. It was the same week the launching girder at the South Super Highway also collapsed from strong winds. Then, 3 months later a 10-ton
compactor fell on the road from the bridge. One worker died.
My first time ever in my profession that I experienced
having these kind of accidents. But I never hear a word from my
boss putting the blame on anybody. The cause of the beam that fell
cannot be pinpointed to anyone... quite a complex situation.
These incidents just happened without any word as to who is responsible.
In the end.... It's the INSURANCE...
